Hey, there doesn't seem to be any information regarding schools or teaching in these two places. I was wondering if anyone is or has taught there. I understand the two big schools are ILS and IH. Does anyone have any experience with them? Thanks again for any information. |

Apparently Estonia and Latvia are no longer part of the USSR. Go figure. They've joined what is called the 'EU'. Check out the European General Forum. |

There are already ads. for jobs in two of these countries right now on the tefl.com site, but don't go to the one in Lithuania which is run by an expat if you are looking for a 'paid holiday' as he takes his business seriously and expects the same from his staff!Since these countries joined the E.U. and escaped russian influence, life there has improved in many ways but you can now find russian-speaking nationals there who are facing problems with discrimination etc!The cost of living has also increased considerably and you will probably not earn enough to do more than get by and enjoy the experience of living and working there. |
