Is it worth saving an extra amount of cash to get a car to take trips? Are cars really expensive? I mean a cheap used one? In the US you can get a car for $500 easy. Should I wait till the end of my stay to travel extensively like for 2-3 months?
Cycling
Is Santiago a easy city to cycle in? I get the sense that most Latin American cities you are putting your life in serious jeopardy if you use a bike to get to an from work.
Motorcycles?
Are they cheap? I road one through out Costa Rica and it was perfect.
250-500 cc?
