I am applying for the NET (Primary) programme and was wondering what kind of hours are common?

| The hours are up to you to NEGOCIATE before siging the contract. |

If you work in a whole day school, the average is 8am till 4.30. This can vary a little. Your school may allow you to start a little later or finish a little earlier - you should be able to negotiate this with them. At my last school, I worked from 9am-4.15pm. This year, I do 7.45am-4.30pm.
If you get offered an AM or a PM school, then the hours are likely to be 7.30am-1pm or 12.30pm-6pm. Again, this can vary a little. Hope that helps! |
