Just a couple of quick question. The first and most important is "How acceptable are tattoo's in Thailand?" The second question I have is "Are there any spots anyone can recommend for new ink in Southern Thailand?" |

Pretty acceptable, but I wouldn't show them of to much or have them where they're easily seen....although I do know teachers here that do get away with it.
Remember the more you look like a teacher, the more you'll be accepted as a teacher. |

Well, never stopped me getting a job per se but most of my students thought I was a mafia guy. Thailand wasnt as bad as China though where I had to cover the damn thing with plasters EVERY day. |

One of the teachers at my school has some Chinese characters tattooed on her forearm. She always has it covered while she is at school. I guess the school has told her to do this. |

I got inked in Phuket this time last year from a Thai friend who used to own a tattoo parlour on Karon beach Phuket. What he did was a great piece of art, I went to him with my 'idea' and he did the design, it looks rustic and old/faded tho only now 12 months old. I still have his number, so if your down Phuket way email me at [email protected]
Cheers,
C |
