More than 40-45 YTL an hour will scare many people off. Less than 30 will make you seem unprofessional. Most people that I know usually charge around 40-50 for grammar and 30-35 for only conversation.... But, of course, other factors include amount of hours a week, distance you have to travel...

This has been covered before. How much do you think you are worth? Have you been recommended and how much can the student afford? Twisted Evil

I know this has been covered before, and the answers vary wildy based on who is responding, but get this -
a group of 6 professionals calls me up, says they want a group private lessons, skill levels vary wildly, they will pay for transportation (they will send company chauffer) I ask for more than 45 ytl and they said it was too much!

just as a surreal esl reality check- 60 ytl/hr is not over the top for a group of six, right? I thought I was offering them a good deal! and, they called me! so there.
