We have all worked part-time or full-time for these private language training centers in China, usually owned by Korean.
I worked for one such school in Tianjin, and saw the owner carry suitcases full of cash yuan to pay the 10 FT's, who got 6,000 yuan per month plus a free large apartment located five miles away in the city.
Does anyone know really how much these owners of schools put in their pocket in relation to how much the teacher makes? I estimate they make at least one yuan for every one yuan the teacher makes. I really have no idea, just a guess. |
