I've figured it out.
Rule: If you are the interviewer, make sure to focus on the lack of experience of the teacher so that you can make the price low.
If you are the potential employee then don't give in!
Example:
Bob goes in for an interview at "Harvard Oxford Wall Street Rich English" institute and meets joe, his interviewer.
Joe: (reading over the resume.) Hmm. I see you have experience in teaching English but no experience in teaching AstroPhysics. (sigh) This is a problem.
Bob: But.. but.. I can teach English!!
Joe: (sigh) Well perhaps you can have a chance. All you have to do is travel 90 min and teach a free demo class, ok?
Bob: You mean teach for free?
Joe: Yes.
Bob: You mean spend my money for transportation and my time to teach a free demo class?
Joe: Yes.
Bob: Ok well what salary can you offer me per class.
Joe: 80 RMB per 60 min.
Bob: But I can get 200 RMB per hour to teach 8 year olds. You expect me to teach the executive board of a billion dollar company for 80 RMB an hour?
Joe: Yes. Actually 80 RMB is standard because ______________.
Bob: See ya. |

| Money may not be everything, but it's way ahead of anything that's in second place. |
