Okay.... I just learned that I will be stationed in Iwaki, in the Fukushima Prefecture. Is high speed internet access (suitable for online gaming and large downloads like game patches and movie trailers) common in this rather small area of 300,000 people? Home internet access I mean, not cafes.
Because if so, I would be able to have my cake and eat it too. A small town I would not (as) easily get lost in, AND all the benefits of a high tech place. ^_^
Or is this a stupid question with an obvious answer?  Not sure how common internet access is in smaller Japanese cities... or how affordable it is. |
