1) Does anybody know how to circumvent the firewall at KFUPM to allow a user to run SKYPE?

2) Any idea how much a decent appartment costs to rent in Khobar?

Try Propel Accelerator, it easily runs right past the various firewalls put up by "the man".

Plenty of people in KFUPM use SKYPE. I am not one of them, but you could try talking to your colleagues.

Why would you want to rent in Khobar when you get free accommodation on-campus ?
