I am working at a Uni and my contract finishes on July 31st, but my teaching schedule ends on June 30th. I want to travel home on July 2nd , then come back to China and start work at another Uni in the same province.
Does anyone know if the PSB can renew my work visa with another school before my contract expires at the Uni I am with now? My work schedule finishes on June 30th, so, can the Uni hold me to the contract finish date?
This is all a " chinese puzzle" and I would appreciate some advice please.
I have phoned the Foreign Affairs office, but get the usual yes, yes all is OK signal..

I switched schools at the end of the term (june 30) and the new school got me a new Z visa before I left.

While dumbass FAO chick did it on the last possible moment it was done before I left China for 3 weeks.
