Has anyone done this since the big changeover on Oct. 1st? Is it just the same as before, or is there anything siginificantly different?

Thanks to anyone with useful info.

I'd also like a reply to this, if anyone knows? If not, I'm going to be trying it tomorrow with a Japanese friend...

Actually, I've since found out for myself. It seems it's exactly the same as before - same form to fill in, and same charge, Y2,500.

What might be different is that perhaps some smaller post offices, that previously offered the international remittance service, no longer do so.
