Hey guys,
Are there any language schools that offer Spanish, in return for teaching? Even just a couple of hours a week? Or is it better to arrange something privately?
And how difficult is it to keep up with all the Chilean slang? Is it a diffcult accent? I have been told that Chilean Spanish differs quite alot from standard Spanish. (even from Latin American Spanish)
Cheers guys!
ps. My Spanish is terrible, I have just a year long beginners course. |

well, Chilean spanish does have a lot of slang out there. Which is very funny and fun to learn.
try to yahoo! "chilean slang" there you can get lists with the English-Chilean translation or meaning.
As for courses, I have no idea. Try to make some social life, go to bars and stuff, people is highly foreign friendly there. That is the easiest way to learn spanish.
THe easiest way? try ECELA! That is a spanish language institute located in Providencia. Manuel Monnt Station. the best you can get. Great School and Classes. You get to learn spanish there in 3 or 4 weeks!
Highly recommended from me!
