I have a job offer in hand that includes a "monthly legal benefit" of 1555 Pesos to pay for something called "Social Security".
What exactly does this cover? Medical? Or when I'm 65 and still living in Mexico?

It covers medical mainly but there are a lot of other benefits wrapped up in it that most English teachers aren't in a position to take advantage of.
For example, daycare, and housing loans to name but two.
Your retirement will be another thing called an AFORE. |
