I have been to Global Village in Tainan, the branch near the railway station, twice to apply for a job.
The first time, I filled out their application form and was told I would be contacted if they needed a teacher. I went back a second time to see if I could apply by email in another month or so.
Both times, the staff seemed a bit unhelpful and unfriendly. Does this indicate anything? Is Global Village a reasonable place to work?
If so, how do you get a job there?

I think in general the job market for teachers in Tainan is not very good. If you are interested in teaching adults, you might also try Cambridge Language Center (close to Cheng Kung University), although they don't pay very well. Cosmos (on Min Dzu Road) also hires some foreign teachers. For addresses of these schools, go to:
