| Does anyone know when Christmas Holidays usually start in Mexico? I'm planning my return flight home and seeing if I can go ahead a pick a date that school will surely be out. The 25th is on a Monday; would it be safe to book for, say the 20th or 21st or wait for Saturday the 23rd?? |

It depends entirely on the school. My university will give me two weeks holiday, I would expect to not teach from Saturday Dec 16 through to Sunday, Dec 31. The school will likely give me Monday Jan 1 as well, but will expect me back to work on Tuesday.
Some language schools might expect you to work the 16th or give you only the one week off. |
