|
|
Although I haven't secured a position with a conversation company or school yet, many offer to place/recommend housing for the worker. I'm wondering what kinds of stipulations are on the "leases" on such places, from your experience (if indeed one were to sign a document that's like a lease)?
I want to make the most economical decision with housing- is it better to accept housing from a company, or split the rent of an apartment with a native Japanese friend that I have. Likewise, were I to accept the company's housing, could I invite someone who is not working in the company to live with me and share the rent, assuming I did not have an assigned roommate?
Another issue- I want to bring my cat (most of her shots for traveling overseas is complete). How likely is it for a company to provide housing that caters to pets? |

Its unlikely they will let that happen, its company accomodation and they are not renting to strangers. You want liv ewith someone find your own apartment, have school go guarantor or find a place that doesnt need a guiarantor. Companies rent to employees, no one else.

Unlikely. Leave the cat at home, most landlords (the company leases apartments off a building owner) do not allow animals in rental accomodation. If you do be prepared to pay more for rent or rent a single house. |
