Hi everyone!
I've been reading this board off and on for a few weeks and thought I'd finally post...
I spent 6 weeks of this past summer studying at UDLA in Cholula, Puebla, and absolutely fell in love with Mexico. I met a lot of amazing people and felt like I'd finally found where I want to be. Leaving was extremely hard...
So, I'm finishing my senior year of college and next year will go through my university's 10 month Masters of Arts in Teaching program. I will get certifications in elementary education, middle school math, and ESL.
I was wondering if anybody here had any experience teaching in either Cholula or the city of Puebla. I'm not quite fluent in Spanish, but I know enough that I can get by...My Mexican friends have told me that there are tons of bilingual schools that I could work at, but I have only found the website of Colegio Americano de Puebla. From the site, it looks like the perfect place to work at, but obviously I'd need to apply to more than one place...
I know it's rather early for me to start looking for jobs as I have two more years of school before I'll be ready to move down there, but returning to Mexico is all I can think about and I want to make sure that it's something feasible.
Thanks for your help!
