Does anyone have any experience with wireless internet connection here in Poland? I just bought a laptop and would like to have internet access wherever I go. I don't currently have it at home, but looking at the Blue Connect website, I am frankly none the wiser.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

I'm currently set up on the ERA Blue Connect. The type of card that you would like to purchase is dependent on the laptop that you purchased. Some allow for an internal card others only an external card that acts like a modem. The only downside with the external is more wires etc.
Anyways, if you get the new cards- they will adjust to the speed capability of the network in your area. I'm in a medium size city so in some parts its adequate however in my flat there is a hot spot and it is very fast. You will need to check your area for speed but even at the lowest speed GPRS it works well enough to surf the Internet etc.
Pricing depends on the option you choose. It is a flat fee per month but they have two options. One option is 60 pln unlimited use and the other is 110 pln unlimited use. If you choose the higher option than you pay less for the card. That option doesn't make alot of sense because you must sign a 1yr contract and that option turns out to be an extra money per year. Can't recall the exact amount..maybe an extra 300 USD or so a year.
Signing up. I had a problem with this because they wanted verifiable income and I don't have a real job per se. They have wanted additional paperwork but I never got to that stage of the sale. I had to negotiate a 750 pln deposit to be returned in 6 months. I know that this was not standard since it took me an hour to get `the okay on. Hope that this helps.
