Has anyone worked at the Sichuan Conservatory of Music? Does anyone know anything about it at all? It's in a list of colleges and universities that offer English to their students, and the web site looks better than most. Any info will be appreciated. |

I've never heard of it but it sounds interesting. What's the website address?
My B.A. is in music and if I ever come back to China... |

The last time I spoke with SCoM, they had a foreign teacher there, but it was on a part-time basis. They were happy piggybacking on his/her status as a full-time student at another univeristy and it seemed they had no facilities/desire to take on a foreign teacher with the usual benefits: salary, apartment, residential permit, etc. etc. |

They're right across from Sichuan U., old campus.
If you can get a gig w/housing at S.U., or their ILTC (where I taught),
then a PT may be possible.
The Conservatory also has a very special kindergarten, w/music listening trainin a key element. |
