I've also applied for a PNET but am yet to hear anything more, beyond an e-mail in receipt of my application.
What is your latest - your post is probably outdated by now. Have you heard anymore? I've almost written the idea off, and looking seriously at other options.

I wouldn't write it off just yet. From what I've heard, the process takes a few weeks. |

Not sure about calling - I wrote a follow up e-mail, then thought twice about sending it and haven't yet. I REALLY want to teach and live in HK and have put all my eggs in this PNET basket, but I'm feeling idle and need to asses alternative options.
Good luck to you, too! Keep us posted on events!

I was sent the acknowledgement email two weeks ago which is in Government terms, not such a long time However, I've just been offered a short term contract in Japan which I want to accept. It would finish a month before P-NET starts so effectively, it shouldn't be a problem - but alas, it may affect my chances of actually attending an interview etc etc.
What would the more wiser and experienced souls on this forum suggest I do? I feel I'm in a catch 22 - accept the short term role and enjoy the experience yet may potentially miss out on a P-NET interview or stay put, wait by the phone for P-NET and never hear a thing again or get an interview but be rejected.
Choices choices!
