Hi,

Does anyone know anything about these institutions?

Can I trust the employment agencies (local and foreign)?

I am an experienced teacher in Business and Management topics (at the university level) but I will be getting my TEFL certificate in September. So I am new in TEFL business, can you please tell me what to expect (working hours, pay and accommodation)

What about SARS?

Thank u so much.

Derya

The first two seem to be public institutions of learning. If they offer you a work visa, you might be headed for a period of relative peace and tranquil.
What is 'Xinxing F'?

As for your quals., at a normal university you are likely to teach future English teachers, and that means your business background takes a backseat.

SARS?
It is gone for the moment, but it is sure to return in October or thereabout. Whether it is going to strike in that particular area of China where you intend working God alone knows.

Unless SARS does another crossover to humans from some other animal, it should not come back. The only forseeable exception would be that somebody isn't properly quarantined, but that doesn't seem likely.

You probably have more to worry about West Nile Virus coming back sometime soon in the US than SARS in China. (If I remember correctly, West Nile took out a pretty considerable amount of people last year too)
