Hi everyone,
I am Canadian who is planning to try out in Moscow in terms of job. I am wondering how much time an employer needs to sponsor me a working visa? Is it possible to get a job for a Canadian citizen this way - through the on the spot sponsorship? Does anyone know any other people who got the job in Moscow this way?
I am going to spend in Moscow 3 month for the job search. I am not the English teacher but an accountant. It seems to me that there is not a forum for a Western accountants about Russia, but only this one.
Thank you for your respond.

You might be "Canadian" but you are clearly not a native speaker.

Work permit regulations for teachers are quite different than those for accountants.

I don't know what everyone else thinks but I think that these sort of questions are clearly a waste of time. If you need to come on a teachers' forum with rubbish English like that, blatantly lie and ask questions which you can probably find out elsewhere on the internet then you are wasting your time as well as ours. Kindly go away.

Look- a whole 2 mins wasted replying to that.

OK leroy.
I can reply you in Russian - but I can bet you will not like it.
How about that?

Are you still here?

If you managed to somehow get your sticky paws on a Canadian passport then you certainly don't need our help to get a Russian work permit.
