hey

so i'm ready to start applying to school is asia (malaysia prefered)
everything is going fine until i come to the part about education.
you see, i have far more work and volunteer experience than education so naturally i put the work first ... i do not have a degree but i did attend university for a year ( one year of 3 completed for my BA). i didn't finnish my degree because of personal family matters. i then went on to college to complete only a 1 year certificate ( i also have my tefl/tesl certification on top of that).
my question is, should i mention that strange year of university ? or just leave it out... i was planning to include it and maybe leave a note about the personal problem but also that i would like to finnish it someday when i'm financially able to.

i just don't know if it'll look bad if i include it , then again my education is not that impressive compared to my work skills so anything i can do to beef it up would be nice. what should i do ... i need this to be perfect.

any input is appreciated
thanks
Missa

I tend to believe that things that qualify or disqualify you for a position are those things that should be noted first on a resume/CV.

If you intend to be an educator (teacher?) - I would think that it would be good to indicate the one year of university. No need to explain or excuse anything, if they want to ask, they will.
