Ola,

I currently teach in Portugal but am keen to go to Brasil next year. I don't know which cities yet though, but have decided against Rio and Sao Paulo. Top of the list are Fortaleza and Florianopolis. But could go anywhere.

Does anyone know any good job resources for Brasil? Also, for those who have worked there, how did you secure a job? In country or through the internet.

Finally, when does most recruitment happen?

Definetely in country.. with patience.. and you won't get a work permit either.

That seems to be most common.

I did it in Sao Paulo.. but teaching on a tourist visa with no hopes of that changing to a work visa.

Once I found a job online (unusual).. I applied and got it but didn't accept it.. same concept with the tourist visa once again.

Maybe there are exceptions.. anyone know some?
