mmmm, I just bought a new DVD player for 399 pesos, okay the brand name is Vsonic, not Philips, but I really don't think s/hell get 650 for a used DVD player.

A three-drawer desk.

Unless you're confusing cajones with cojones. Shocked

A three-balled desk. Is that like a claw-footed table, or a four poster bed? My desk doesnt have any balls, that I know of. What are they good for?

Fats, open up your dictionary, the only one I have here at the house is a Larousse. It is horrible, but it has cajon. I prefer the Chicago. If you are that lazy, there are at least 4 translating sites on the net. I prefer the IM paralink. Teach yourself to be bilingual and it will be very rewarding.

I can't leave any of you alone for a minute...look what happened to my thread! Wink

Desks with balls...the nerve of some people.

The good news about that DVD player is that if she doesn't sell it, then I get it for free!!! naw, I'm kidding. Ms. Teacher is going back to Oz to marry her Mexican fiancee and live happily ever after.

What a good person you are to realize and accept your error. We all learn from our mistakes. As a teacher, or wannabe, look it up next time. It could save you from appearing untrained in front of your students. cwc

Untrained in Spanish? Pretty much a moot point teaching English? And if not, what a great way to get students talking about having the cajones to teach.
