| hi has anyone experienced living in Ruwais before? If so what did you think about it? What advantages/ disadvantages are there to living there? Any help is much appreciated. |

| I wrote about Ruwais on this forum a long time ago and I don't thing it can have changed much. It's an oil terminal/industrial town about 250km west of Abu Dhabi, next stop Saudi Arabia. There is uncontrolled strip development along the once beautiful beaches which are now polluted. I don't think I'd want to live there. |

| Yes, there was a short thread on here a year or so ago about Ruwais. If you do a search on Dave's for it, just put in Ruwais; the thread I'm thinking about was called 'Info on Ruwais', or something very similar. Hope you can find it. |

| One advantage is (unlike Abu Dhabi and Dubai) no traffic and you can ALWAYS find a parking place. |
