Hi,
Most of my Spanish students can produce /ai - the "i" sound in fine - perfectly well.
However, I've had 2 so far, of about 16, who instead produce something suspiciously like the "o" sound in "boy".
I've just armed myself with "Ship or Sheep", & am planning to lay into them shortly, but am surprised there's nothing in there about Spanish speakers having problems with the /ai sound.
Plus, it's only been 2 of my students.
Has anyone else come across this problem?
