Hey, I'm thinking of coming out to Japan for an extended period of time after I finish teaching english in thailand. I don't have a degree so I think I will probably have a difficult time to find a job teaching english. That being said, I was wondering if anyone knew of any companies that did English camps or anything of the less formal kind of teaching. Any help would be appreciated........Thanks |

You wont be able to any kind of teaching or paid employment in japan unless you have a valid work visa and most require a degree. No one will ask you on a camp to help out if you come out on a tourist visa. You may get lucky if you have a working holiday visa and a teacher with connections asks you to help out, but most camps are run through schools, jukus and groups that deal with kids. |
