For the oldies and perhaps the newbies on this Board:

A friend of mine in Canada wants to work in a specific city in Inner Mongolia. The agency that she is working with does not appear to be willing to go the extra "mile" to locate the telephone number of the Foreign Affairs Office in the city he question so that he can be called directly to check on vacancies.

Does anyone on this Board have the telephone numbers of the Foreign Affairs Officers for either Manzhouli, Inner Mongolia or Hailar, Inner Mongolia?

I know that this is a very specific request but my Canadian friend comes from the Far North and she wants to work in a remote area with a cold climate...

To each his or her own, I guess.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hunan Guy: I don�t have Foreign Experts telephone number of Manzhouli and Hailar but I have of Hohhot and I think it might help.

Although they are highly incompetent and don�t speak much English.

Inner Mongolia is backward compared to other provinces and personally I wouldn�t recommend it partly because of weather and bureaucracy.
