|
|
When I first got here, my heater/air conditioner was fine but in the last few cold days, I don't know if my heater/air conditioner died or if I foolishly switched it onto an option that I don't understand.
According to the "key" that my landlord gave me, I can find out what most of the kanji means but this is an option I don't understand.
???????
That's Option 3 under the two 'timer' options. Can anyone shed any light on this? I would just like to make sure my air conditioner is working before summer arrives. |

Ask someone at your school to tell you what the kanji / settings mean. I'm sure they'd be happy to help you. |

I just realised the hiragana and katakana didn't show up in my post. Grrr!!
It says:
sa wa ya ka se-bu (se-bu being in katakana). |

Sawayaka means "refreshing" or bracing.
Sebu is katakana for "save". So it means to preset to refreshing air flow. You must be getting blasts of cold air that cool down the room. |

thanks Paul.
I think it's fair to say that it's broken then. I'm getting nothing from all 4 options. |

I just took the remote to my school and had someone translate it and out small English labels on it. |
