I need employment verification forms from my previous teaching jobs overseas for a job I am currently applying for. How would I go about getting these? They were both a few years ago so the personnel who were there when I was there are no longer there either. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Send them to me - I will verify them!
Why not? |

A lot depends on what the future employer wants. Presumably you would be able to get hold of the social security payments for the period involved, if the company had no record of you.
Thing to do is to remember to always get that letter of service when you leave. |

1) Contact the schools and ask them each to write you a letter confirming that you were an employee. They should have records and most will be willing to write a brief note confirming that you did indeed work there.
2) Give the new employer contact information for the school and let them check you references.
I've never heard of anyone asking for an "employment verification form" before. Most schools would prefer to contact the schools directly if they want to check your references. |

I apologize for my "tongue-in-cheek" response above! Sorry it wasn't taken for what it was . . .
Such forms are often asked for by schools/colleges/universities that scale your wages according to your previous experience.
I always ask for such forms before leaving - but usually most schools will accept copies of your past contracts - keep a copy of anything/everything you sign. |
