I'll be arriving in Tianjin in Aug. and be teaching for an International school there. I know I'll be busy and all, but I wanted to explore the idea of a PT job on eves/weekends. Partly for a little extra cash but mainly as a way to get a little more involved with some locals. I've read up on the do's and dont's of PT work in general, but does anyone have some speciifc info about possible situations in Tianjin in this timeframe? I'm particularly intersted in working with adults or college students doing the ESL thing, or teaching SAT, GRE, GMAT. Thanks for any possible help.

You can definately find them if you're willing to look for them. When you arrive, find Alibaba's and just post a notice, (assuming of course that you don't come to realize that you have enough on your plate as it is), and someone will probably contact you in a matter of days, if not hours.
