Here`s a way to weed out the schools and the recruiters to avoid when looking for a position in China, or anywhere for that matter.
Testimonials from former and\or current teachers are the best thing a job hunter can have to know what to expect. Schools and recruiters that have been in operation for more than two years but cannot get testimonials should give the job hunter pause. Bona fide operations may see the value of obtaining a lasting record of testimonials. And working conditions could improve. |

Would that be really effective? They can invent personalities that give references. Even major universities usually give the same reference over and over to everybody. I know that GDUFS before would only give the same two references both from some crippled, blind & crazy Mormon couples from the LDS Work-4-Free in China Project.
I wouldn't trust any references unless you can verify them on Dave's. |

| Whats more, is that privacy laws forbid doling out this information. Legitimate schools and organizations have to deal with privacy laws, though I should mention any teacher happy with their placement shouldn't have a problem sharing the gleeful news with a potential teacher candidate. |
