ni men hao:
Perhaps you have seen this posted on the Taipei Time site...a government site with a wealth of info for expats:
http://iff.npa.gov.tw/enfront/
I was a bit surprised to see that it already has over 318,000 hits!
(I thought that it was a new site...maybe it was just updated?)

To help foreigners adapt to Taiwan and improve their quality of life, the National Police Agency has established a Web site and hotline offering information to foreigners. The Web site, at iff.npa.gov.tw/enfront, provides information on subjects such as visa and ARC renewals, work, education, healthcare, tax, safety, foreign spouses, tourism, traffic, housing, public services and other issues relating to foreigners living in Taiwan. The information is classified into two categories: specific information for different groups of foreigners, and information for the public. Foreigners can also access direct service by calling the Service Hotline at 0800-024-111. |
