Hi!! My South African boyfriend will be coming to Taiwan in about two months' time to come and teach here. My question is, what should he give as his reason for wanting a 60 or 90 day visitor's visa? And does anyone know about any available legal jobs in Keelung?

You could try saying he is coming to visit his girlfriend. Make sure he has your phone number and ID ready. Tick tourist visa.

The forumosa forums in the "so you have some questions thread" has a whole forum specifically for visa issues.

I'd give you some advice of my own, but I'm not the most knowledgable person. I've heard some S.A'ers say the visa stuff is a bit tricky for them, so maybe you should look for some of your fellow S.A'ers to point you in the right direction.

Cheers!
