| Hi All! I am looking to start my teaching career in Shanghai this fall. I have been contacting various organizations regarding employment. I was recently told by Start Consulting (chinateachonline.com) that accourding to the Shanghai Foreign Experst Bureau, all schools will have to employ teachers with at least two years teaching experience and a bachelors degree. I have the bachelors degree, 10 years business experience, but I don't have any formal teaching experience. I was asked then if interested in other areas to get the two year minimum requirement. Is this true about getting a teaching job in Shanghai? Any thoughts would be much appreciated...thanks. |
