England, not sure about this one:
Provisional squad:
Robinson (Tottenham), James (Manchester City), Green (Norwich); G Neville (Manchester United), Ferdinand (Manchester United), Terry (Chelsea), Cole (Arsenal), Campbell (Arsenal), Carragher (Liverpool), Bridge (Chelsea), Beckham (Real Madrid), Carrick (Tottenham), Lampard (Chelsea), Gerrard (Liverpool), Hargreaves (Bayern Munich), Jenas (Tottenham), Downing (Middlesbrough), J Cole (Chelsea), Lennon (Tottenham), Rooney (Manchester United), Owen (Newcastle), Crouch (Liverpool), Walcott (Arsenal).
Standby:
Scott Carson (Liverpool), Luke Young (Charlton), Nigel Reo-Coker (West Ham), Jermain Defoe (Tottenham), Andy Johnson (Crystal Palace).
With Rooney and Owen not fully fit taking Walcott as the one of the four strickers (with Crouch as the other!) seems more than a bit of a gamble.

Without Rooney or Owen England go from a real threat for the championship to what they have been since '66 a solid but uninspiring team that can't score. |

England have the potential to do great things. We'll just have to wait and see.
Meanwhile I am really hoping I'll be able to find a bar or club full of Japanese fans when Australia take on Japan.
I'll be wearing my green and gold with pride! |

OK then come down here to some of the Brazilian bars in Aichi and do the same. |
