Hi all,

I will be back in China next week after a 6 week hiatus in lovely morocco and the less than lovely UK. I still have about 6 weeks remaining on my previous 1 year F visa (due to expire mid-July) and fear that its too early to cancel this one and get a new 1 year one while im in Hong Kong. Does anyone know if a new visa can be fixed up if 6/7 weeks are still outstanding on the old one ? Also, have the terms/conditions and ease (and price) of getting an F visa in Hong Kong changed in the last 10 months ?

Any info or experience on these points appreciated.

Just one final point - is the summer IELTS market in shanghai as buoyant as in previous years (i was pleasingly overworked in Shanghai in Summer 2004 and my bank balance dictates i need to work like that again).

Thanks all
