| hi all, i am moving to abu dhabi for a job. Its the first time i will be living in the middle east so a bit nervous as well as excited. My questions relate to this move: i dont really know the first thing about abu dhabi. Is it easy to find accommodation there? I probably will have to share an apartment. How does one go about doing this? I would like to share with 1 or 2 women (preferably expats) . My office will be on Corniche Road but i dont have to be right next door to it. I plan on having a car of course so i could commute for 20 to 30 mins. My priority really is to have a nice safe neighbourhood with a gymn close by. Greenery or a park would also be great. Can someone suggest nice neighbourhoods? Rental lists? Any help will be most helpful. thanks |

| If you go to www.expatmum.com you will find a link for 'Bridget Jones club' which is for single women in AD. They may be able to help you, but have a look at various threads on expatmum [ not all mums on it!] for useful info. |
