Dear folks, just wondering if anyone knows anything about this particular group that,
"promotes sustainable economic development, environment conservation, and cultural heritage preservation in Tibetan areas of China. Program areas are located in Qinghai, Sichuan, Gansu, Yunnan and the Tibet Autonomous Region"?
I've done some research and am looking for input from others who may have had experience with them.
Thanks again,
Mart |

I only know of an organisation called 'khamaid' that cooperates with Chinese authorities in facilitating education for Tibetans in Chinese provinces; as far as I know the Chinese haven't green-lighted them for work in Tibet.
If any NGO gets okayed for such field work they must show PC-ness and are subject to rigorous vetting. Many of them don't pay you a salary; some even demand you inject some funds into their projects... plus your travelling costs, health bills and visa costs at your expense... |

Roger, thanks for your help.
I shall be asking quite a few questions of this group.
Thanks again for passing on the "heads up" to me.
Take care,
