True. Well noted. Do you think the kids can handle hypothetical situations or arguments that run counter to their own beliefs? I attempted to organise a debate with my kids yesterday (about Grammar Is The Most Important Thing in Lingo Learning- pro/con) and in spite of handing out two sets of worksheets with the two repective arguments, both teams somehow presented identical opening arguments. Why? Well, the group that was supposed to do Communication Is More Imp than Grammar didnt agree with the statement. So they argued for the other team's viewpoint.
