Hi Meomixie,
I don't know if you will ever get this. I don't have your email address so I can't email. I hope you get this though.
In short, NISTA is fine...I worked there a few months in early 2000. It is in a small town on the coast of Slovenia called Koper. There is not a whole hell of a lot to do there but some people go to bars in Portoroz...which is a little glitzier than Koper.
When I was there they did not offer any reimbursement for travel to the country or anything like. They don't pay your accomodation either but they know of rooms for you to rent. It is run by a husband and his wife...well mostly the wife, and probably a native-speaking Director of Studies. You might find her a little weird or annoying but in the end she's fine, and they are honest people.
Slovenia is very small but packed and filled with natural beauty, and it is quite western and very clean! Go there if at all possible at least to visit. |
