My brother was thinking of teaching in Taiwan, so he was looking at www.teach-abroad.org. I want to check up the validity and quality of the program. If anyone has had any experiences with them, let me know. Thanks! |

Kudos to you for looking out for your little bro. I haven't heard anything about them, but if you go ask this question on the five or six other Taiwan forums linked to in the "so you have some questions" thread, you'll quadruple your chances of getting some solid info about them. Do searches for that company's name on all of those forums (including this one) might be a lot faster.
All big brothers should be like you. Cheers! |

I don't know about their placement, but this;
Quote: |
TEACHER'S IDENTITY CARDS
Some of the benefits
Higher Salary in most Schools
More Prestige, more respect
Quick facts:
Valid for two years after Date of Issue
Delivery within 30 days after approval
Price: 69,00 USD |
Sounds like a complete waste of paper and ink. This in turn makes me a little suspicious of the rest of their work.
By the way, if anyone wants a Teacher Identity Card I'll make you one for US$10 and a beer. I'll even make the expiry 2050. Pre Approved for members of Dave's.
Any takers? |

Be very careful of this website. I recieved an offer from them and there were many red flags indicating that it was a total scam. Please be careful. |
