All,
First time poster but long-time reader of these boards.
I really need to ask a favor of those teaching in Tokyo.
I have a part-time gig teaching at a computer software company in Kudanshita/Iidabashi. It's in the evenings from 3 to 6/7pm. I only teach one to two classes a day. Two students at a time.
I would like to take a month holiday from mid-September to mid-October. However, I must find someone to fill in for me during that time. Surprisingly, I'm having an impossible time finding someone to do it. I'm getting desperate.
This job is easy as pie, great people, and could lead to a permanent gig if I leave in January as I have sort of planned. Can pay you y200,000. Technically only required to work 50 hours in the month.
If you are interested or know someone that might be interested, please contact me at [email protected]
Thanks Dave for letting me post this. |

Hello Poke ...
I'm sure many people (including me) would in principle be happy to help you out ...
Unfortunately it's a bit of an inconvenient time slot as those with day jobs wouldn't be finishing untill around 4 or 5 and those working in Eikaiwas would probably only be starting work at that time.
Is the time flexible at all? Is there a chance for a later start time?

Thanks for the reply, Sushi.
YOu're absolutely right about the time not being convenient. I can change it back to 4-7 but I'm not sure that really changes much. A little frustrating.
At this point, just hoping for maybe someone between jobs, coming over and looking for work or possibly even maybe someone from back home that would like a Japanese holiday.
We'll see. Thanks. |
