Mandu you said it is fun and not really about speaking. WTF is it about then? I was under the impression that we are here to make people speak. Please clarify, I have never heard of a class where you teach the parents and kids together it could be a good idea, if they go home together and practise their English together.
Tell me more, I am really interested, if I sound rude, it's because I am.

I too find this interesting. I would do some nursery rhymes where there are songs and lots of getting up or sitting down. Ring a ring a rosie comes to mind. The parents will love the action just like the children and as they are only short lessons it should not be too tiring.

haha, I wish I was there.

Not to sound like a snob but there should only be one form of English, and that's British English. The *real* English if you want to call it.

hey wozza I suppose fun isn't suppossed to come into when kids are together with parents - the first and most important step in any kindy class is to show that its fun - if that fun is eventually linked to English learning, then hey-bingo you get kids paying attention, wanting to come back for more and even wanting to learn.

but what WTF wozza with a comment like that you must be a real pro -
f*!k the fun, my job is to make you speak kid Laughing Laughing Laughing

Hey Mandu weve done stuff with eating and drinking - like how to make a sandwich, breakfast cereals, simple stuff that kids and moms can do together. You can incorporate going shopping games and what stuff you need - if your kindy has toy food that works well in these kind of games - if you have some funds buying real food and being able to give a small sample is a huge hit!!!!
