How do you recommend finding people who want private lessons from you? I suppose word of mouth is best but how have people who are already found some privates done it?
Does posting flyers around the universities or your neighborhood help? Like... you are a native speaker that can teach basic, conversational and biz eng....??
Any recommendations, ideas, how tos would be awesome...
Or anythings to avoid would also be helpful.
Gracias! |

Usually, they come to me. Or the university and the university passes the word on to me. |

Similar to naturegirl, they just come to me, I'm not taking on any privates at the moment and there are times when I feel like I have to beat people off with a stick. During the Christmas holidays someone asked me every single time I went out of the house. Other times of the year seem to be slower.
If I wanted to give privates, I would just make up some business cards and hand them out to people who stopped me on the street. |
