Hi Guys,

it would be much appreciated if you could give me any info on the organisation as a whole. Good points and bad points.

Thank you so much.

Any personal experiences would be good to! Very Happy

I knew a few people who worked there, but never did myself.

You have to teach kids on your own, no support from Japanese staff except when you teach really young kids when they are with their parents.

Working time is quite short, often only a couple of lessons a day but that sometimes includes long travel times between schools.

Also, if the parents are late,(and they frequently were in my friends experience) then you have to wait with the kids. Even if that means missing your bus or train.

Personally, I wouldnt work for them, but if teaching kids is your thing and you dont mind the petty annoyances then it could be just the job for you.

I am in training with Peppy right now.

Believe me it does have its good points and does have its bad points.

I am contractually bound to not `slander the company` so I dont feel good to list the bad things here in a public forum.

But yeah, good and bad about Peppy. I am not sure how I am going to go with them. We will have to wait and see.

I have taught a few classes now and although they give you a ridiculous amount of paperwork to wade through, once you get into the classroom things go pretty smoothly.
