I need a Typhoid vaccine as I will be going to China and India in July. HOWEVER, I have just been advised that Japan doesnt stock typhoid vaccines anywhere in the country. What should I do? Has anyone out there been able to access the vaccine from within Japan? |

If you can make it up to Tokyo, the King Clinic in Harajuku and the International clinic in Roppongi both do the vaccination. Not sure how much it costs- if you Google you should be able to find info on both clinics. Possibly there are similar clinics in Osaka- not sure though.
Do get the typhoid vaccine even if you have to go out of your way- one of my friends came back from India this January with typhoid and spent 3 weeks in an isolation ward. My husband and I had our shots updated when we went back to NZ as we travel to India most years. |
