Is a CELTA sufficient for HK? I think you might need a PGCE or equivalent to get a PNET position, but please correct me if I'm wrong. |

What sort of position have you been offered with the MOE in Singapore? What type of school? What level of students? What subject matter?

Seems strange that they've offered you a job and haven't mentioned your salary.
Also seems strange that when I applied to them I had to complete forms stating what my teaching qualifications were and for what specific ages in primary/secondary school. That's why I made the comment about the PGCE - obviously I'm wrong.
There is a new move here to bring in foreign teachers to teach English language, so maybe they're recruiting for that programme.
Anyway, let us know what happens - it's always good to know what to expect. Best of luck. |
