I was thinking of a job in Chile- this was linked from Dave's Jobs- Any ideas or experiences on this? One grand plus seems like a large job finder fee- don't you think?

About the Founder

Bruce Thompson, a U.S. citizen residing in Chile, and founder of TeachingChile, has been working since 2003 as a volunteer, dedicated to advancing English in Chile. From writing related proposals for Chiles Ministry of Education and other educational institutions, collaborating with a number of Chilean corporations, meeting with a variety of charitable funding Chilean and international companies, interfacing with several foreign embassies and chambers of commerce, to participating in English language courses in Chilean schoolsBruce has been passionate about assisting in the development of English programs in Chile.
Those years of Bruces volunteer work led to the creation of TeachingChile, a concept that all of the above organizations contributed toward the design.

Prior to his work in Chile, Bruce enjoyed a 19-year career in which he held executive-level positions for international high-tech corporations where he managed programs that involved cross-cultural activities in the Latin American, Asian, and European markets. Those world-wide programs involved new product launches into foreign markets with an adaptation to the local country, international product distribution agreements which included in-country training, and other international business negotiations.

--- Bold is mine-- I think it should read "Bruce is passionate about making loads of cash from teachers in Chile...." Embarassed Ok sorry Bruce if you read this- I'm sure you work hard helping your teachers and need money too. But 1k plus seems like a ton of cash for a mere teaching job to pay back.

Well I guess it might be ok- no clue really. It is 50 dollars for the application I may just send it in. Or, should I? Question
